About the book (continued): How it works

Each week, we start a new chapter that identifies a skill that contributes to the talent of wayfinding.

A twenty minute “swot” each day gives the reader a mental exercise to practise the target skill. Improving mental processes such as memory and spatial abilities will also benefit other areas of your life.

At the end of the week we have a “trot”, an expedition to try the skill out in the world at large.

Alternatively, you can simply browse through the book to select and read the topics that interest you.
